Please enter the arrival and departure date of the retreat. Please note that there will be a welcome meeting at 6.00pm on the day of arrival, with the first class starting the following morning. The last class will be held on the afternoon prior to the day of departure.

Cautions:
 

Sanctuary is located on the top of a steep hill giving wonderful views. However, the steep terrain means that to make the most out of Sanctuary, intending guests should be reasonably fit and physically active.

Sanctuary regrets that we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 11 years old.

Arrival Details
Please let us know how you will be arriving in Mission Beach and your expected time of arrival.

Please arrive at Sanctuary in daylight where possible, to enable you to get your bearings in the rainforest before it comes alive at night. You may arrive anytime after 9am. Your room will be available by 2 pm, earlier if possible.

Last orders for the restaurant are taken at 8.00 pm (please call ahead if you plan to arrive after dark and wish to dine in the restaurant)

If travelling by coach, please enter the arrival time.
If you don't yet know the arrival time in Mission Beach then please telephone by 6.00 pm the night before to organise a courtesy transfer.

If travelling by other means please enter the details.
   

If you are travelling by coach, Sun Palm Transport offer a service from Cairns and Cairns airport direct to Sanctuary at 7.30am, 11.30am and 2pm for approx $45. You can book on 07 4087 2900 or view their website.


Alternatively, if you are travelling by Greyhound coaches please call to let us know your bus arrival time at least one day prior. Greyhound coaches stop at Mission Beach Central (also known as Wongaling Beach) terminal. Sanctuary is about 15 km's north of the terminal, so you will need to catch the local Mission Beach, Beach Bus from there to Connors Corner. There is a payphone there, so please phone us when you arrive and we will collect you.

 

The Beach Bus runs an hourly service from 9 to 5pm weekdays (less on weekends). We will advise you of the timetable when you let us know your arrival time.

Alternatively, or outside of these hours, the Mission Beach taxi (Tel: 0429 689 366) can transfer you to Sanctuary at a cost of approx $40.00. It is generally advisable to call them beforehand so they can meet you when the bus arrives.
     
Deposit Policy
     

To book your place on a Retreat, a 50% deposit is required. Sanctuary accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB. Please Note: When using American Express and JCB a 2% surcharge applies.

 

Sanctuary Booking Deposit Policy: for cancellations more than 1 calendar month prior to the retreat we will refund your deposit, less a $35.00 handling fee. If the cancellation is made within one calendar month of the Retreat, the deposit will be non-refundable.

The Retreat requires registration of a minimum number of participants. Sanctuary reserves the right to cancel the Retreat no later than one calendar month prior and will refund all deposits if the minimum number of registrations is not met.
